Division Overview

AA Division

     The AA Division is the participant’s first opportunity to bat against live pitching. Fellow competitors pitch rather than using a pitching machine. Participants will continue to work on improving their skills in the basic fundamentals of throwing, catching, and hitting and will be introduced to some of the more complex strategies and game situations of baseball.  The AA Division is designed to be recreational; with equitable playing time, no draft, and no end of season tournament. All 9 year olds are automatically placed in AA Division. Participants of league age 10 that do not assess at the AAA level will also be placed in AA Division.
